India Impose Duties On China-Taiwan Product: The Government of India has taken action and imposed dumping duty on these things coming from China-Taiwan. India has imposed anti-dumping duty for five years on plastic processing machines imported from China and Taiwan. This step has been taken by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). On Thursday, CBIC issued a notification and gave this information. CBIC has imposed anti-dumping charge after the recommendation of the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR).
CBIC said in another notification that mica pearl pigments used in the automobile sector will not attract imported charge from China. Rather the anti-dumping charge will depend on the grade of the pigment.
Let us tell you that the Government of India had imposed anti-dumping charge on the import of pearlescent pigments coming from China in November 2023. Now anti-dumping charge has been imposed on plastic processing machines imported from China and Taiwan. It is being said that this will help in avoiding unfair trade and Indian traders and the country will benefit from it.
