Drone Strikes Hit Major Pakistani Cities; US Issues Alert

India launched drone attacks on nine Pakistani cities, including Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, dismantling three air defense systems. The US has urged its citizens to evacuate Lahore immediately amidst rising tensions.

On the second day of Operation Sindoor, India has taken a big action against Pakistan. In India's strike on Thursday morning, HQ-9 air defense systems installed in three major cities of Pakistan, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi were destroyed. News agency ANI has given this information. India used Israeli Harpy drones for the attack.

Pakistan Army spokesman Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said on Thursday afternoon - India carried out drone attacks in 9 cities of Pakistan. The Pakistani army managed to shoot down at least 50 drones.

Sharif admitted that one drone was successful in causing damage. 4 Pakistani army personnel were injured in Lahore and 2 people died in Mian.

Meanwhile, the US has asked its citizens and consulate staff living in Lahore to move to safer places.

Amidst the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, many countries have instructed their citizens not to travel to these two. These countries include America, Britain, China, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Russia, Ireland and New Zealand.

Drone attack on Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

According to Al Jazeera's report, there has been a drone attack in the premises of Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Food vendors have been damaged in this. Two people have also been injured.

Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches are currently going on in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. A PSL match was canceled after India's air strike yesterday.
