India labels Pakistan ‘Terroristan’ ;- Indian agencies destabilising neighboring countries

Indian and Pakistani diplomats were responding to each other at the UN. During this, Indian diplomat Rentala Srinivas called it 'Terroristan' without naming Pakistan.

The debate between Indian and Pakistani diplomats began over Jaishankar's speech. In his speech at the UN on September 27, Jaishankar, without naming Pakistan, had said that India has been facing the challenge of terrorism since independence. Our neighboring country is considered the epicenter of global terrorism.

On this, Pakistani diplomat Mohammad Rashid said,

It is very regrettable that India has stooped so low that it is distorting the name of a country. This is an insult to the entire nation.

Rashid alleged that India itself promotes terrorism and its intelligence agencies are involved in destabilizing neighboring countries.

Rashid also said that this is an attempt to defame Pakistan. He stated that Pakistan has lost over 90,000 lives in the fight against terrorism, which has also been appreciated internationally.

‘’Pakistan is identified by its own actions. Its imprint is clearly visible in terrorism spread across the world. It is a threat not only to its neighbors but to the entire world. No argument or lie can ever hide the crimes of Terroristan.’’- In return, Srinivas said.

On Srinivas's statement, Rashid said that India is giving bad impression Pakistan's name by calling it ‘Terroristan’.

Mentioned the Pahalgam attack in the UN

Jaishankar said that this is the most recent example of cross-border terrorism referring to the Pahalgam’s attack. He called it a brutal terrorist attack.

He further said, that India has exercised its right to protect its people from terrorism and taken action against terrorist hideouts.

He added- It is necessary to eliminate terrorist structures. Fighting terrorists has always been India's priority.

He stated that terrorist havens are operating on a large scale, terrorists are openly glorified, and the funding of terrorism must be stopped. Jaishankar used the word Bharat instead of India in his speech.
