Lufthansa Flight Returns 4000 KM After Denial of Landing in Hyderabad

A Lufthansa plane en route from Germany to India was forced to take a U-turn mid-flight, covering 4000 KM back, after being denied landing permission in Hyderabad. The incident has raised questions, and an investigation is underway.

A plane coming to India had to return by taking a U-turn in the air itself. This Lufthansa Airlines flight was flying from Frankfurt, Germany to Hyderabad, but due to a bomb threat, it was not allowed to land in Hyderabad. As a result, the plane decided to return to the same place from where it took off, covering a distance of 4000 km, and it was safely landed at Frankfurt Airport in Germany.

Lufthansa Airlines flight number LH752 was not allowed to land at Rajiv Gandhi Airport, as the plane received a bomb threat. Due to this situation, the plane took a U-turn mid-way and returned. Lufthansa Airlines clarified in a statement that they had to take this decision due to not getting permission to land in Hyderabad.

A passenger informed from Frankfurt airport that they have been provided with overnight accommodation as their flight has been rescheduled for Monday morning. A female passenger going from the US to Hyderabad to meet her mother said that they had landed in Frankfurt about 15 minutes ago and were only told that their flight was not allowed to land in Hyderabad.

Not allowed to enter Indian airspace

A senior official of Hyderabad airport has given a statement in this matter, in which he confirmed the return of the Lufthansa Airlines plane. According to the official, a bomb threat was received even before the plane entered Indian airspace, due to which it was not allowed to enter Indian territory and it was sent back to the same place from where it came.
