Pakistan claims Chinese weapons worked excellently: 'We shot down 7 Indian jets, India didn't shoot down even one'
The Pakistani military has praised Chinese weapons. Army spokesman General Ahmed Chaudhry said in an interview with Bloomberg on Monday that these weapons performed well in the conflict against India in May.
He said-We are open to all types of technology. Chinese technology performed very well. Pakistan shot down seven Indian fighter jets, while India did not shoot down a single Pakistani aircraft.
Chaudhary also said that Pakistan does not discriminate between Chinese or Western weapons, but Chinese weapons performed well in this conflict.
India Destroyed a Chinese Missile
Pakistan used Chinese PL-15 and HQ-9P missiles, JF-17, and J-10 jets against India during the conflict, but these were neutralised by India's indigenous weapons (such as the BrahMos and Akashteer).
On May 9th, fragments of a PL-15E missile were recovered from a field in Punjab's Hoshiarpur district. This missile was made in China. Subsequently, on May 12th, the Air Force displayed its wreckage for the first time in a press conference.
Pakistan fired a Chinese-made PL-15E missile from a JF-17 fighter jet, but it was intercepted mid-air, preventing it from reaching its target. According to reports, this is the first time the PL-15E missile has been used in a conflict.
Just a day before this, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had threatened, saying that if there is a war this time, India will be buried under the debris of its fighter jets. He accused the Indian leadership of making provocative statements to regain its lost credibility.
Khawaja Asif had said-Pakistan is a country built in the name of Allah. Our protectors are soldiers of Allah. This time, India will be buried under the debris of its aircraft.
Operation Sindoor India destroyed 8 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan On May 7 at 1:30 AM, India conducted airstrikes on 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The army said that more than 100 terrorists were killed in this strike. According to Pakistani state media, India attacked in Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh and Muzaffarabad. This included Lashkar-e-Taiba's headquarters and Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar's hideout.
Indian Army's statements promote war
Two days ago, the media wing of the Pakistani army, ISPR, had issued an official statement saying that the irresponsible statements of the Indian Defense Minister and army officials are an attempt to promote war.
Along with this, targeting Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi, the Pakistani army said - As far as talks of erasing Pakistan from the map are concerned, India should know that if such a situation arises, both countries will be wiped out.
Actually, on Friday, Upendra Dwivedi had said - Pakistan will have to think whether it wants to remain on the map or not. If it wants to make its place, it will have to stop patronizing terrorism.
