Pakistani National Denied Entry at Karnataka's Karwar Port Amid Heightened Security

In a significant security measure, a Pakistani crew member aboard the Iraqi cargo vessel MT R Ocean was denied entry into India at Karwar Port, Karnataka. 

After the Pahalgam attack, India has banned the entry of Pakistani citizens into India and all the Pakistani citizens present in India had their visas cancelled and all were sent back to Pakistan. But, Pakistan is still not stopping its activities.

Attempts to infiltrate terrorists from Pakistan are still going on. In this episode, the Indian Army has also killed many terrorists in the past few days. Meanwhile, India stopped a Pakistani citizen from landing at its port from an Iraqi ship.

Pak citizen was stopped in the ship for two days

This was a cargo ship that came from Iraq and its staff also included Indian and Syrian staff. Actually, an Iraqi ship reached Karwar Port in Karnataka. This ship had left from Al Jubair in Iraq and it also had two Syrian and one Pakistani staff and 15 Indian staff.

Citing security reasons, the ship's staff was denied permission to disembark at Karwar Port. The goods were unloaded from the ship, but the Syrian and Pakistani staff were kept on the ship.
Ban imposed on Pakistani citizens due to tension with India
After the Pahalgam attack, India destroyed the terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and POK under Operation Sindoor. Along with this, several other actions have been taken against Pakistan and Pakistani citizens have been banned from entering India. Therefore, the Pakistani staff was not allowed to disembark from the ship.
