Trump: “We’re Very Close to a Trade Deal with India”

President Trump said on July 16 that the U.S. is “very close” to securing a trade agreement with India, as negotiations continue ahead of an August 1 tariff deadline. No formal deal announced yet.

Talks are going on between India and America regarding the trade agreement. US President Donald Trump said that talks are going on between the two countries on an interim trade agreement and soon the deal will be finalized. India is demanding minimum tariff for itself in this agreement.

America is desperate to make a trade agreement with India. On one hand, India is giving measured statements on this matter. On the other hand, statements are being made continuously from the US on the trade agreement (India-US Trade Deal).

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump once again said that talks are going on between the two countries on an interim trade agreement. The talks are moving in the right direction and soon the deal will be finalized on the trade agreement.
