He made this statement on Monday night while hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. But along with this, Trump also announced new tariffs on 14 countries. These will come into effect from August 1. Trump says that the US will no longer give any relaxation in trade and countries that do not agree will have to face tariffs.
Trump said while talking to journalists that the US has made trade deals with Britain and China. He told that countries with which an agreement is not expected are being informed about the tariffs by sending letters.
