Will there be a double ceasefire? After Russia-Ukraine, these countries may also end war with Trump’s plan

Speculation rises over a possible "double ceasefire" as Donald Trump hints at plans not only to end the Russia-Ukraine war but also to halt conflict between other nations.

Double Ceasefire Donald Trump After the Corona epidemic, war-like conditions arose in many countries of the world. US President Donald Trump is now trying to stop these wars that have been going on for several months. After getting ceasefires in Armenia and Azerbaijan, Trump is now trying to stop two more wars. However, there are many challenges in this too.

After the terrible period of the Corona epidemic ended, many countries of the world came under the grip of war. In February 2022, Russia attacked Ukraine. This war was going on when a war started between Israel and Hamas. Iran also jumped into this war, after which this war started looking like Israel vs Iran. Finally, America also carried out an air strike on Iran and conditions of world war started developing in the Middle East.

After the ongoing tension for some time, now US President Donald Trump is trying to get a ceasefire between all the countries. In such a situation, if his efforts are successful, then there are chances of not one but two ceasefires in the world.

1. Russia-Ukraine ceasefire

After the meeting between Trump and Putin in Alast on August 15, Trump held a meeting with the leaders of 7 European countries including Ukrainian President Zelensky at the White House. During this, Zelensky agreed to a trilateral meeting of Russia, Ukraine and the US and it is possible that this meeting will be seen in Geneva soon.

The trilateral talks of Russia, Ukraine and the US are likely to be held in Geneva in the next two weeks. For the first time since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, Zelensky and Putin will be face to face in this meeting.

The biggest deal of this meeting is the security guarantee, in which the US has assured Zelensky to protect Ukraine.

Ukraine will buy weapons worth $90 billion (Rs 7.47 lakh crore) from the US as a security guarantee from the US. This deal will also include the purchase of fighter aircraft and air defense systems.

2. Israel and Hamas War
Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2024 and took many Israeli citizens hostage. Currently, both the countries have agreed on a 60-day ceasefire. However, this ceasefire is not going to be easy.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing a dilemma. On the one hand, people have come out on the streets in his own country. All Israelis are demanding the safe return of the hostages, while Netanyahu's party supporters are opposing the ceasefire. At the same time, America and Europe are also pressuring Israel to ceasefire.
