The celebrations commenced on September 26 with the "Radiant Yellow Wedding Haldi" theme, where the festival grounds transformed into a sea of sunny yellows and saffrons. The evening began with a serene Maa Aarti, where devotees gathered in large numbers, offering prayers and seeking blessings. The devotional atmosphere soon evolved into a lively celebration as traditional Garba music resonated across the venue, filling the air with pure energy and excitement.
The venue featured flowing yellow drapes, marigold garlands, and decorative elements that created the perfect backdrop for the vibrant celebrations. Participants donned beautiful traditional attire, with some embracing the divine roles of Shiva and Parvati, while others showcased vibrant Gujarati costumes, creating a riot of colors against the golden theme. Thoughtful arrangements for food and refreshments added to the enjoyment, making the event a feast for all senses.

Day 2 of Dainik Jagran's festival, themed "Passionate Red Wedding Sangeet," exploded with an energy that surpassed all expectations. The air crackled with excitement as attendees, draped in vibrant red and traditional finery, filled the grounds. The night was already electric with a fun competitive spirit for the best-dressed and best dancer titles, and the crowd was mesmerized by a stunning, synchronized Garba performance by a team of thirty women.
But then, the magic truly began. As the dhol's thunderous beats merged with the resonant rhythms of traditional shehnai, an unexpected downpour descended upon the venue. Instead of seeking cover, the crowd erupted in euphoric cheers! The rain became the night's most celebrated uninvited guest, transforming the dance floor into a glistening, magical arena.
What followed was pure, unadulterated joy. The dhol beats grew fiercer, matching the intensity of the rain, as hundreds of devotees and dancers embraced the moment. They spun, twirled, and clapped with even more passion, their colorful chaniya cholis and kurtas soaked, their laughter echoing through the rain. The rhythmic clashing of dandiya sticks added to the percussion, creating a symphony of devotion and celebration against the backdrop of pouring rain.
It was a spontaneous, beautiful chaos a moment where tradition and nature collided to create a core memory for everyone present. Attendees later raved that the rain didn't dampen the fun; it amplified it, turning an incredible evening into a legendary, once-in-a-lifetime experience of dancing Garba in the rain.
Day 3: Grand Finale - Baraat Night Extravaganza
Today, September 28, marks the magnificent conclusion with the "Ethnic Wedding Procession & Celebration" theme. Participants are expected in traditional ethnic wear for what promises to be the most spectacular night of the festival, truly bringing to life Dainik Jagran's vision of a unique fusion of Garba and wedding celebrations.
