Cook and Apply These 4 Ingredients with Mustard Oil to Get Rid of White Hair

Modern lifestyle, increasing stress, and pollution are causing premature greying of hair. In such cases, many people resort to chemical-based hair dyes, which may offer a temporary fix but can also be harmful in the long run. If you're looking to naturally restore your hair's black color and thickness, mustard oil can be a great home remedy.

When certain ingredients are mixed with mustard oil and applied to the hair, they not only restore color but also strengthen and add shine. Let’s explore four such ingredients that, when combined with mustard oil, can naturally benefit your hair:

1. Mustard Oil + Curry Leaves

Curry leaves are rich in nutrients that strengthen hair roots and gradually reduce greying.
Method:
Heat 2 tablespoons of mustard oil and add a handful of curry leaves. Once the leaves turn slightly brown, strain the oil and let it cool. Massage this oil into your scalp and wash off after 1–2 hours. Use twice a week.

2. Mustard Oil + Henna

Henna naturally colors the hair and also nourishes it.
Method:
Mix 1 cup of henna powder with a little water to make a paste. Add 2 tablespoons of mustard oil. Apply this mixture to your hair and leave it on for 2–3 hours. Rinse thoroughly. Use twice a month.

3. Mustard Oil + Amla (Indian Gooseberry)

Amla contains Vitamin C and antioxidants that help slow down the aging of hair.
Method:
Mix 2 tablespoons of mustard oil with 1 tablespoon of amla powder. Warm it slightly and apply to the roots. Wash off after 30 minutes using a mild shampoo. Repeat twice a week.

4. Mustard Oil + Onion Juice

Onion juice nourishes hair roots and helps slow down the greying process.
Method:
Extract juice from one onion and mix it with 2 tablespoons of mustard oil. Apply the mixture to your scalp and leave it on for 30–40 minutes. Use once or twice a week.
