Money Plant Care Tips: People who are fond of gardening definitely have a money plant in their house. And those who are not very fond of it, they also definitely plant it, because it does not require much care.
But if your money plant has insects and the leaves have started turning black or look torn, then it means that the plant has been attacked by insects or fungus.
If the right measures are taken in time, the plant can become green and healthy again. Some easy and effective home remedies are given below.
1. Neem oil
Mix 1 teaspoon neem oil and a little liquid soap in 1 liter of water. Mix well and fill it in a spray bottle and spray it on the leaves (both upper and lower side).
It kills insects, aphids, mealybugs and fungal infections.
2. Soapy water
Add 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid to 1 liter of lukewarm water. Fill it in a spray bottle and spray it on the affected leaves.
It destroys the insects by damaging their outer layer.
3. Garlic and chilli spray
Grind 5 garlic cloves and 1 green chilli and boil it in 1 liter of water. After it cools down, filter it and spray.
It is a natural insecticide. Although its smell may be strong, it is very effective in driving away insects.
4. Remove the affected leaves
Cut off the leaves which have black spots or are completely damaged, so that the infection does not spread to the rest of the plant.
5. Take care of sunlight and air
Keep the money plant in a place where there is light sunlight and adequate air. Too much moisture can cause fungus and insects.

Spray neem oil once every 15 days.
Do not let water accumulate - overwatering can harm the money plant.
Lightly scrape the top layer of the soil from time to time, so that air can pass and the moisture in the soil remains balanced.
