Asked to extradite Indian prisoners who have completed their sentence

List handed over to Pakistan
According to a statement by the Pakistani Foreign Office, under the Diplomatic Assistance Agreement of 2008, both countries have to share the list of prisoners lodged in each other's jails on January 1 and July 1 every year. Pakistan handed over the list of Indian prisoners to a representative of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.
The Ministry of External Affairs said, 'Today, Pakistan and India shared lists of prisoners held in each other's jails through diplomatic channels.'
Demanded immediate release and extradition of fishermen
India shared a list of 463 Pakistani or presumed Pakistani prisoners (382 civilians and 81 fishermen) with a diplomat at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. Pakistan demanded the immediate release and extradition of all Pakistani prisoners and fishermen who have completed their sentences and whose national status has been confirmed.
