16th Employment Fair: PM Modi Distributes 51,000 Appointment Letters

At the 16th Employment Fair, PM Modi handed over appointment letters to 51,000 youth, highlighting India’s limitless potential and the power of its young workforce.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) participated virtually in the Employment Fair (Rojgar Meka) organized in New Delhi and on this occasion provided appointment letters to the selected youth in the Central Government. He said that the efforts of the Central Government to provide permanent jobs to the youth are continuing, and this process takes place without any slip or expense. Today more than 51,000 youth have been given appointment letters, and through such employment fairs, lakhs of youth have got permanent jobs in the Government of India.
Narendra Modi said that even though your departments are different, our goal is only one - Rashtra Seva. No matter what the work, post or department, everyone's aim is to serve the citizens. He congratulated everyone for this important work. The Prime Minister also mentioned that today the world is recognizing two precious powers of India: demography and democracy. He said that this potential of the youth is the biggest capital and guarantee of the bright future of our country, and our government is constantly striving to make this capital the basis of prosperity.
Prime Minister Modi said that he has recently returned from a visit to five countries, where the voice of India's youth power was heard. He said that the agreements made during this period will benefit the youth of India both in the country and abroad. Modi also mentioned that the Government of India is focusing on creating new employment opportunities in the private sector. Recently, the government has approved a new incentive scheme related to employment, under which assistance of Rs 15 thousand will be given to the youth getting a job for the first time. The government has set a budget of about Rs 1 lakh crore for this scheme, which is expected to generate about 3.5 crore employment opportunities.
Manufacturing sector is India's biggest strength
Prime Minister Modi said that the government has prepared a budget of about Rs 1 lakh crore, which will help in creating about 3.5 crore jobs. At present, India's manufacturing sector has become an important force, where a large number of new jobs are being created. Mission Manufacturing has been announced in this year's budget to encourage manufacturing. Make in India campaign has also been strengthened in the last years.

Today our country is rapidly moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world, and this is the result of the hard work of our youth. In the last 11 years, India has made remarkable progress in every field. Recently, a report released by the International Labor Organization (ILO) states that more than 90 crore Indian citizens have benefited from welfare schemes in the last decade. These schemes are not only limited to welfare, but a large number of new employment opportunities have also been generated through it.
PM congratulated the selected employees
Addressing the selected employees, the Prime Minister said that even though your departments are different, we have only one goal, which is to serve the nation. Emphasizing on the priority of the citizens, he said that you have got an important opportunity to serve the people of the country and congratulated everyone for this.
Modi further said that today the whole world is recognizing that India has two precious strengths: one, its huge young population and second, its democracy. On the issue of employment, he told that the focus of the Government of India is also on the creation of new employment opportunities in the private sector.
The Prime Minister recently told that the government has approved the Employment Linked Incentive Scheme. Under this scheme, the youth who get a job in the private sector for the first time will be given an assistance of Rs 15 thousand, which will be the government's contribution to their first salary. For this, the government has set a budget of about Rs 1 lakh crore, which will help in creating about 3.5 crore new jobs.
