18-year-old medical student sexually assaulted: Blackmailed her with videos, two friends also sexually abused her

The accused, identified as Amanpreet, lured the student to a hotel in Adarsh Nagar under the pretext of a party. Two of his friends were reportedly present.

The men allegedly spiked the victim’s drink, after which Amanpreet raped her while his friends recorded the incident. The victim also alleged that the friends sexually assaulted her.

Following the assault, Amanpreet allegedly blackmailed her with the recorded video and continued to sexually exploit her throughout September, threatening to post the content on social media if she refused.

The hotel’s CCTV footage, which could have aided the investigation, had been automatically deleted due to the 15-day auto-delete system.

However, the hotel provided the police with a copy of the visitor register showing the accused and the victim entered the hotel on September 5 at around 11:30 PM and checked out the next morning at 10:50 AM.

An FIR has been registered at Adarsh Nagar Police Station under sections 64(1) and 123 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The police have launched raids to locate Amanpreet and are conducting both technical and manual investigations to trace his whereabouts
