3 Terrorists Killed Ahead of Defence Minister’s Srinagar Visit

After Meeting Troops, Minister Warns: “Pakistan’s Nuclear Threat Won’t Deter Us”

Security forces neutralized three terrorists in Kashmir just hours before Defence Minister's visit to Srinagar. During his address to the soldiers, he asserted that Pakistan's nuclear weapons will not intimidate India, reaffirming the nation's commitment to strong counter-terrorism action.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reached Jammu and Kashmir for the first time after Operation Sindoor launched by the Indian Army against Pakistan. He also visited Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar. Here he saw the pieces of mortars and shells fired by Pakistan. During this, Defence Minister Rajnath said that, in Pahalgam, the terrorists killed innocent people based on their religion. We eliminated them based on their deeds, this was our religion.

It is worth noting that, a few hours before the visit of the Defence Minister, the Indian Army killed three terrorists in Tral, Awantipora on Thursday morning. Army sources said that a top commander Asif Sheikh is also included in this.

Apart from this, Aamir Nazir Wani and Yawar Ahmed Bhatt have also been killed. These three were included in the list of 14 terrorists released by the government after the Pahalgam attack. However, the death of the terrorists is yet to be confirmed by the officials.
