A threatening message claiming "We will blow up the CM's office with a bomb" was received, triggering alarm at the Gujarat Secretariat. Security agencies have launched a full-scale investigation while the premises were thoroughly searched.

According to the police, this threat came on the email of the Chief Minister's Office, after which the bomb squad searched the entire premises. The threat proved to be false in the investigation. Police have registered a case against an unknown person and started an investigation.

According to Gujarat Police, on July 17, a message was received on the official email of the Chief Minister's Office (CMO). In this, there was a threat to blow up the Gujarat Secretariat along with the CMO. As soon as the information was received, the police came on alert mode.
