Abhishek Banerjee to Replace Yusuf Pathan in Operation Sindoor Delegation

In a key change, Abhishek Banerjee will represent the TMC in the Operation Sindoor parliamentary delegation, replacing Yusuf Pathan ahead of crucial diplomatic engagements.

Abhishek Banerjee will represent Trinamool Congress (TMC) in the 51-member delegation going abroad to expose Pakistan on the success of 'Operation Sindoor' and terrorism. This delegation of seven MPs from the government will visit countries around the world to present India's side on the issue of terrorism and expose Pakistan. Each delegation will visit four to five countries.

Let us tell you that, before Abhishek, former cricketer Yusuf Pathan was given a place in this delegation. But he did not make himself available after not getting the green signal from the party high command.

TMC tweeted and gave information

On the inclusion of Trinamool Congress national general secretary and party MP Abhishek Banerjee in the parliamentary delegation in connection with 'Operation Sindoor', TMC wrote on 'X', 'We are happy to inform that our President Mamata Banerjee has nominated National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee to represent Trinamool Congress in the all-party delegation for India's global outreach against terrorism.'

Yusuf Pathan removed

Let us tell you that, before Abhishek Banerjee for Operation Sindoor, the central government had chosen the name of MP Yusuf Pathan from TMC to go abroad for the all-party meeting, but questions were raised on this from the party's side, after which now the name has been changed and Abhishek Banerjee will go abroad on behalf of the party.
