What is the real reason behind the reduction?

Air India said that a decision has been taken to reduce international services by 15 percent regarding wide-body aircraft for the coming few weeks, which will be implemented from June 20. DGCA had given instructions to investigate Air India's Boeing 787-8/9 aircraft. More than half of the investigation work has been done. Air India said in its statement that as an additional precaution, Air India will also investigate its Boeing 777 aircraft.
