At the same time, the flight from Trivandrum to Delhi had to be cancelled due to a problem in the other plane.
Plane collided with a flight going from Delhi to Trivandrum
Before landing at Trivandrum airport, the pilot flying the Air India plane had reported a bird hit. This flight was going from Delhi to Trivandrum. The flight landed safely in Trivandrum and is awaiting the completion of formal investigation after the bird hit. The same flight was to return to Delhi, which has now been cancelled.

An Air India plane going from Delhi to Kochi had to make an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram airport due to low oil. After refueling, the flight left for Kochi and landed safely.
