Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla Meets PM Modi, Presents Space Photos

Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla warmly met Prime Minister Modi, shook hands, hugged him, and presented stunning photographs of Earth captured from space.  

Indian astronaut Captain Shubhanshu Shukla met PM Modi. This meeting took place at PM Modi's residence. Shubhanshu recently returned to Earth on July 15 after completing his space mission. He returned to India from America a day earlier and met PM Modi. PM Modi welcomed Shubhanshu in the PMO by hugging him. PM Modi asked about his well-being. During this, Shubhanshu was also seen showing some videos of space captured in his iPad to PM Modi.

PM and Shubhanshu were also seen talking to each other for a long time. While addressing the 79th Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort, PM Modi had mentioned Shubhanshu and said that India is developing its own space station.

Let us tell you that Shubhanshu Shukla was part of the Axiom-4 private space mission, which departed from Florida on June 25 and reached the ISS on June 26. He returned to Earth on July 15.

On Saturday, he posted a picture of himself sitting in a plane on Instagram. He wrote, "Many emotions are rising in my heart as I sit in the plane to come back to India. I am sad to leave behind the wonderful people who were my friends and family for the last one year during this mission. I am also excited to meet all my friends, family and all the people of the country for the first time after the mission. I think this is life - everything together."
