Chaos at IGI Airport: 64 Flights Cancelled, 79 Delayed

Passengers faced massive disruptions at IGI Airport as 64 flights were cancelled and 79 delayed on Saturday. Frustrated travelers raised slogans, with some alleging they were held hostage during the ordeal. Authorities are investigating the situation.

Due to Operation Sindoor, 64 flights were cancelled and 79 flights were delayed at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Saturday. 28 departures and 10 arrivals of international flights were delayed, while two international flights were cancelled. On the other hand, 41 departures of domestic flights were delayed and 30 flights were cancelled. Apart from this, 32 flights arriving at the airport were cancelled.

According to Dial, all operations at the airport are running normally. Due to changes in the airspace conditions and security measures, the schedule of some flights may be affected and the security check process may take longer. Officials have urged passengers to reach the airport early so that possible delays in security checks can be dealt with.
