Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary at Lok Bhavan. The CM garlanded his statue. During this, the CM said that today is the death anniversary of the revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, the ajatashatru of Indian politics. On this occasion, I pay tribute to him by saluting his memories.
The CM further said that Atal ji's 6 decade political journey gives a new direction to Indian politics. India's life values, ideals, what should be the model of development inside India and what kind of prestige should be given to India and Indianness on the global stage, whether Atal ji was in the ruling party or in the opposition, he always kept these things in mind.
It is the good fortune of UP that he started his political journey from Balrampur here. Lucknow is fortunate that he represented UP in the Parliament as an MP and Prime Minister for five consecutive terms. His memory is a guide not only for the present generation but also for the future generations.
