The DGCA has clearly stated that passengers will not be allowed to take photos or videos while flying or landing from military airports so that the country's security is not endangered. Strict legal action will also be taken against those who break the rules.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken a big and strict decision regarding air travel in the country. The instructions issued by the DGCA will be applicable to those aircraft that take off or land from military airports.

This instruction of the DGCA will be strictly applicable at sensitive airbases located near India's western border such as Amritsar, Jammu, Srinagar and Jaisalmer airports. The instructions state that passengers will have to keep the window shades down while taking off or landing from these areas.
