Dr. Bhargav Mallappa Named Janata Party National Secretary for South India

In a significant organisational development, the Janata Party has appointed Dr. Bhargav Mallappa as its National Secretary (Organisation) for five southern states—Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
The announcement was made by Janata Party National President Navneet Chaturvedi during a ceremony at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.
At just 25 years old, Dr. Mallappa has already built a reputation for grassroots activism, youth mobilisation, and organisational leadership. He also serves as National Deputy Chairman of the National Bharat Sevak Samaj (NBSS), where his contributions to social service and public engagement have earned widespread recognition.
Expressing gratitude for his appointment, Dr. Mallappa said:
“I am thankful to our leadership, especially President Navneet Chaturvedi ji, for trusting me with this responsibility. My priority will be to strengthen the organisation across the southern states, expand outreach at the grassroots, and empower local leadership with transparency and accountability.”
He further emphasised that his focus would be on building a strong, united political base in South India, working to reflect the aspirations of the people, particularly the youth.
Janata Party President Navneet Chaturvedi lauded the young leader’s commitment, stating:
“The Janata Party is committed to organisational growth and public service. Dr. Bhargav Mallappa’s energy and dedication will play a vital role in strengthening the party in southern India and connecting more closely with the people.”
