Acid attack on Laxmibai College student in Delhi

A 20-year-old student of Lakshmibai College, Delhi University, was attacked with acid by three boys known to her. According to reports, the accused belong to the Bharat Nagar area. As of now the police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.
According to Delhi Police, the incident took place on Sunday. Police received information from Deepchand Bandhu Hospital that a young woman from Mukundpur had been admitted with acid burn injuries.The victim stated that she is a second-year student and had gone to Lakshmibai College, Ashok Vihar, for her class.
As she was going towards the college, Jitendra, a resident of Mukundpur who she was acquainted with, arrived on a motorcycle with his companions Ishan and Armaan. Ishan handed a bottle to Armaan, who threw acid on her. The victim tried to save her face, but both her hands were injured.
Jitendra used to stalk the victim; an argument took place earlier
Police said that the accused fled from the spot. The victim further stated that Jitendra used to stalk her, and about a month ago, a heated argument took place between them. The crime team and FSL team inspected the crime scene.
