A man committed suicide along with his four minor children after a dispute with his wife. This incident happened when the father decided to jump in front of the train with his children, due to which everyone lost their lives. The loco pilot of the train said that when the train reached near the track, the person suddenly jumped on the track, resulting in the death of all four children and their father.
Giving information about this incident, the police said that Manoj Mahato (45), a resident of Bihar, and his wife Priya were having a dispute over some issue. On Tuesday morning, there was a heated argument between the two, after which Mahato said that he was taking the children to the park and left the house. Police said that Mahato was seen walking on the railway track, which was about a kilometer away from the station. During this time, he was carrying two children on his shoulders and holding the hands of two other children.
Giving information about this incident, the loco pilot of the train said that he blew the horn several times, but Mahato did not move from the track. When the train came close to him, he jumped in front of the train with his four children. This tragic incident happened at around 12:55 pm. After getting information about the incident, the police team reached the spot and removed the bodies from the track and sent them for post-mortem.
After getting information about the incident, the local police immediately reached the spot. During the investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was having a dispute with his wife. After a minor quarrel on Tuesday, he reached the railway track on the pretext of taking the children to the park. When the train came while walking on the track at some distance from the station, he committed suicide by jumping in front of the train with his four children, due to which all died a painful death.
The bodies were scattered at a distance of 50 meters
The loco pilot of the train informed the railway officials about the incident. As soon as the information was received, GRP DSP Rajesh Chechi, RPF Inspector Shravan Kumar and GRP station in-charge Rajpal along with other GRP and RPF personnel reached the spot. With the help of local residents, the policemen collected five bodies scattered around the spot and sent them to the mortuary of BK Hospital through ambulance. Officials said that these bodies were scattered at a distance of about 50 meters from the spot.
