A woman has filed an FIR against her husband and in-laws, accusing them of exploitation, harassment, and blackmail just 10 months after their marriage.
The woman alleged that her husband, Syed Inamul Haque, secretly installed a camera in their bedroom and recorded their private moments.
According to her complaint, he shared these videos with friends abroad and pressured her into physical relations with them, threatening to make the videos public when she refused.
The woman further claimed that she discovered a few days after the marriage that her husband was already married and had relationships with 19 other women.
She said he also pressured her to sell 340 grams of gold jewelry and a Yamaha bike given at the time of their wedding to buy a flat, assaulting her when she refused.
She also accused her sister-in-law of publicly humiliating her during a family function in February and alleged misconduct by her brother-in-law.
On September 21, the husband allegedly assaulted the woman and fled the house. Police have registered a case against him and his family members, but he is currently absconding
