In accordance with the forecast of the Meteorological Department, necessary guidelines have been issued to evacuate people to safe places with immediate effect and to be prepared with full vigilance and foresight in matters including rapid drainage of stagnant water, electricity and food supply, health and life-saving medicines. Collectors have also been urged to keep instructing citizens to be cautious in heavy rains and not to cross rivers, drains or flowing water.

According to the India Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of sporadic to heavy rains in eastern Uttar Pradesh during June 16 to 22. Which will provide relief from the heat.
