Today, on June 21, the 11th International Yoga Day is being celebrated, in which yoga sessions are being organized at 100 major sites and 50 cultural sites in the country, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This year's theme is "Yoga for One Earth, One Health". On this special occasion, Prime Minister Modi is present in Visakhapatnam, where he practiced yoga with a huge group. The day is dedicated to spreading awareness about yoga and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Union Minister JP Nadda participated in the International Yoga Day program

Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda practiced yoga on International Yoga Day 2025. On this occasion, he wished everyone a Happy Yoga Day and told that the concept of Yoga Day was started by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. He proposed to celebrate Yoga Day in the United Nations General Assembly that year, which was supported by about 170 countries. In December 2014, the United Nations General Assembly decided that every year 21 June will be celebrated as International Yoga Day. This proposal was passed unanimously and International Yoga Day started being organized from 2015.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the whole world has seen how our forces showed prudence and destroyed only those bases which were the center of terrorist activities. If we wanted, we could have destroyed other things along with the terrorists, but we maintained restraint. This patience and balance is a symbol of our tradition of yoga, which gives us stability even in adverse circumstances. We not only foiled their intentions, but also took such action that Pakistan had to bow down, after which we put a pause to Operation Sindoor. As stated earlier, Operation Sindoor is not over yet. On the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and other prominent personalities practiced yoga under the leadership of Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev. The Chief Minister informed that cyclothon yatra is going on across Haryana and a comprehensive campaign is being run against drug addiction. He said that panchayats in many villages have been made drug-free and sarpanches are being motivated to make their villages drug-free. In this context, today's yoga theme has been kept as "One World, One Health", which aims to create a yoga-oriented and drug-free Haryana. Along with this, he announced the establishment of yoga gymnasiums in the state and large halls for yoga centers. To reduce stress, a 5-minute break was also announced in every office so that people can get back to work with renewed energy.
