Monsoon Enters Delhi; Bihar-Jharkhand Flood Alerts

Many states of North India are eagerly waiting for the entry of monsoon. For the last few days, people were troubled by the humidity in the national capital. At the same time, monsoon has knocked in many districts of Bihar. Monsoon is awaited in many states of North India.
Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for light to moderate rain on June 24 and 25. It was said that the monsoon is likely to arrive in the national capital on Tuesday. While on Monday, Delhi remained cloudy and there was light drizzle. IMD said, "Conditions are favorable for rain in the city. Light to moderate rain is expected on both Tuesday and Wednesday."
According to Skymet, monsoon is expected to arrive in some parts of North Arabian Sea, some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, remaining parts of West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu within the next two days.
During the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains occurred in Northeast Bihar, parts of Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and some places in Rajasthan. Light rains were observed in Marathwada, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and interior Tamil Nadu.
At the same time, light to moderate rains were recorded in Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, East Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.
