The theme for this year, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” underscored the collective duty of all stakeholders in building a corruption-free, accountable, and responsible work culture.
Throughout the week, the Vigilance Division organised a series of engaging activities aimed at promoting awareness and participation among employees. These included essay writing, slogan creation, extempore speeches, online quizzes, IGoT (Integrated Government Online Training) courses, and drawing and painting competitions, encouraging reflection on the role of vigilance in everyday work. A special art competition for the children of NBCC employees was also held to instil the values of honesty, fairness, and responsibility from an early age.
The week-long observance concluded with a Valedictory Session held at the NBCC Office, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi, graced by the presence of Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director, Smt. Ritu Pande, Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Project), Dr. Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial), and Shri Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance). During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to the winners of various competitions, acknowledging their creativity, enthusiasm, and understanding of the central theme. Officers and employees from across the organisation attended the event and collectively reaffirmed their pledge to uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity in all professional endeavours.
