The first session is scheduled from January 21 to 30, 2026, while the second session will take place from April 1 to 10, 2026.
Registration Details
The application process for the first session will start in October 2025 through the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in. The registration window for the second session will open in the last week of January 2026.
More Exam Centers, Better Accessibility
According to the NTA, the number of JEE Main applicants is expected to rise this year. To accommodate this, additional exam centers will be set up across cities to help candidates find centers closer to their homes. The agency has also assured improved facilities for candidates with disabilities to ensure smooth participation.
Important Advisory: Update Certificates
Earlier, on September 29, the NTA issued a notice urging applicants to update key documents to prevent rejection of their applications. Candidates have been advised to ensure the accuracy and validity of the following certificates:
-
Aadhaar Card
-
UDID Card (for PwD candidates)
-
Category Certificate
Students should verify that details on their Aadhaar — including name, date of birth, photo, address, and father’s name — are correct and consistent with their Class 10 marksheet.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories or those with disabilities must make sure their certificates are valid, updated, and renewed if necessary, before applying
