PM Modi Honored with Ghana’s Highest Civilian Award

PM Modi has been awarded Ghana's highest civilian honor 'The Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana'. During a program in the capital Accra, Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Ghana's highest civilian honor.
PM Modi has been awarded Ghana's highest civilian honor 'The Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana'. During a program in the capital Accra, Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Ghana's highest civilian honor. PM Modi dedicated this honor to the citizens of India and also thanked Ghana for this honor.
PM Modi said that in the defense and security sector, we will move forward with the mantra of Security through solidarity. He announced that cooperation with Ghana will be increased in areas like training of armed forces, maritime security, defense supply and cyber security.
On being awarded the national honour, Prime Minister Modi said, “It is a matter of immense pride and honour for me to be awarded the national honour of Ghana. I express my heartfelt gratitude to President Mahama, the Government of Ghana and the people of Ghana. I humbly accept this honour on behalf of 1.4 billion Indians. I dedicate this honour to the aspirations of our youth, their bright future, our rich cultural diversity and traditions and the historical relations between India and Ghana.
