Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal (MICT) at Indira Dock in Mumbai on Saturday. The terminal has been designed to provide enhanced facilities to seafarers. MICT is India's largest world-class cruise terminal, spanning 207,000 square feet on its first two floors (G+1), with 72 check-in and immigration counters.
The newly constructed MICT is designed to handle approximately 1 million passengers per year. It can also handle five ships simultaneously, with a draft of 11 meters and a length of up to 300 meters. The parking lot can accommodate over 300 vehicles.
