Rochit Singh Became the Youngest & Most followed SEBI RA in India

Rochit Singh’s journey from Biswan, Uttar Pradesh, to becoming one of India’s youngest SEBI Registered Investment Advisors (RA) is a story of discipline, experimentation, and long-term conviction. At just 21, he holds SEBI registration number INH000023834 and has already built a community of 2.2 million followers - making him one of the most followed financial educators in the country.

Rochit’s story began almost a decade ago, in the 9th grade, around 2016–2017. The arrival of Jio transformed internet access in India, and Rochit seized the opportunity early. While his peers used the internet for leisure, he used it for creation. He began exploring every digital avenue he could find: domain selling, blogging for a few months, app development, gaming videos, and freelancing.

Each venture failed. Yet each failure taught him new skills. Rather than seeing these setbacks as the end, he viewed them as steps toward something bigger.
His first moment of success came from an unexpected place. A YouTube video he made, where he solved questions from the S. Chand textbook, initially received no views. But months later, it crossed 500 views. This small win gave him immense confidence and reinforced his belief in long-term consistency.
During his coaching days, he faced mockery from teachers and classmates who didn’t understand why a schoolboy was making educational videos. But by the 11th grade, his persistence had paid off - his tech and entertainment YouTube channel hit 5.5 lakh subscribers, and he began earning significantly. For a teenager from Biswan, this was a turning point.

His entry into the stock market came on January 11, 2020, inspired by a video about Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s success with Titan. He began with small investments and soon ventured into intraday and swing trading - common routes for beginners. But losses followed.

The real turning point arrived in 2022. During market consolidation, Rochit realized that hours spent trading had not created meaningful wealth. He recognized that long-term investing - even in broad indices or stable companies like Tata Motors - would have delivered better returns than short-term trading.

From that moment, he made a life-changing commitment:
- No intraday trading.
- No swing trading.
Only long-term, multibagger-focused investing.

This belief mirrors the path of India’s legendary investors - Jhunjhunwala, Kedia, Damani - who built fortunes by identifying a few great businesses and holding them through the ups and downs.
As Rochit refined his investment philosophy, his digital influence skyrocketed. His ability to explain long-term investing in simple terms earned him massive trust online. Today, with 2.2 million followers, he is among the most followed SEBI RAs in the country.
What sets Rochit apart is not just his age, but his message. He urges young people to “keep switching” - to keep experimenting until they discover what aligns with their passion. He believes that the failures he experienced were necessary, because each failure carried a lesson that later contributed to his success.
Rochit Singh’s journey proves that consistency, patience, and curiosity can shape a career - even from a small town. From Biswan to becoming a SEBI Registered Advisor at 21, he is redefining what financial ambition looks like for India’s youth.
