Reacting to the clean chit in the Malegaon blast case, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur termed it a victory for Sanatanis and claimed that "all the heretics have been disgraced," sparking political reactions.
Former BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur has called the clean chit received from the NIA court in the Malegaon blast a victory for the Sanatanis, and also said that 'the heretics have been disgraced'. Along with this, she also clarified the concept of 'Hindu Rashtra'. The court has acquitted all seven accused, including Sadhvi Pragya and Colonel Purohit, after 17 years.
After her arrest, Sadhvi Pragya launched a scathing attack on the Congress over words like 'saffron terrorism'. She also included people of other religions in this context. Sadhvi wrote on X on Friday night that the face of the Congress and other heretics has been disgraced due to this allegation. She congratulated all Sanatanis and patriots on the victory of saffron, Hindutva and Sanatan. Also, she raised the slogan of Jai Hindu Rashtra and Jai Shri Ram in her post.
Former Bhopal MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur recently shared a picture of a saffron flag on Instagram and wrote, 'Bhagwa Chir Vijayi Dhwaj...' 'Rashtra Jai Ghosh' is written below this flag. Sadhvi Pragya, who has been devoted to the ideology of Hindutva since childhood, was arrested in connection with a bomb blast in Malegaon, Maharashtra. She was accused that the bike on which the explosives were kept was registered in her name. However, the court made it clear that this allegation could not be proved by the available evidence.
On 29 September 2008, 6 people were killed and 101 others were injured in a blast of explosives kept in a motorcycle near a mosque in Malegaon, about 200 km from Mumbai. Hindu accused like Thakur, Purohit, retired Major Ramesh Upadhyay, Ajay Rahirkar, Sudhakar Dwivedi, Sudhakar Chaturvedi and Sameer Kulkarni were named in this case. After these arrests, some Congress leaders used words like 'Hindu terrorism' and 'saffron terrorism'. Now after the court's decision, BJP is demanding clarification from Congress.
