Terror Alert Issued in J&K and Pahalgam

Terrorists can attack again in Jammu and Kashmir and Pahalgam. According to intelligence information, terrorists can attack jails like Srinagar Central Jail and Kot Bhalwal in Jammu. Many high profile terrorists and OGWs are imprisoned in these jails. After receiving intelligence inputs, the security forces have increased the security of all these jails.

Sources also said that after receiving the input, DG CISF met top officials of the security grid in Srinagar on Sunday. After review, the security of the jails has been increased. Let us tell you that CISF took over the security of Jammu and Kashmir jails from CRPF in October 2023.

NIA interrogated terrorists

Meanwhile, NIA has interrogated two OGWs Nisar and Mushtaq, lodged in Jammu jail, for their alleged involvement in the Pahalgam terror attack. Both of them have been lodged in Jammu jail since April 2023. Both were arrested in connection with the terror attack in Rajouri district on January 1, 2023, in which 7 civilians including two children were killed. An IED blast took place the day after the attack. Investigating officials believe that Mushtaq and Nisar had prior knowledge of the plan of the Pahalgam attack or had helped in it and their interrogation is part of an effort to trace the wider terrorist network involved in it.

Hamas-Lashkar meeting in PoK

Meanwhile, intelligence has received that in the last two months, several rounds of meetings have taken place between Hamas and Lashkar commander Abu Musa and many others in PoK. A meeting has also been held with Saifullah Khalid alias Kasuri in Rawalkot. The Pahalgam attack took place only after these meetings. In such a situation, speculations are being made that Hamas and Lashkar have joined hands and together will promote terrorism in Kashmir.

A video of Lashkar commander Abu Musa has surfaced 4 days before the Pahalgam attack. In this, he is comparing the Gaza-Palestine issue with Kashmir. He says- 'Gaza is also like our Mirpur. When we brought Israel to its knees, we will do the same in Kashmir.' In this video, the poster from the stage from where Abu Musa is speaking also has a photo of Kashmiri terrorist Burhan Wani. This video has revealed the link between Gaza and Palestine behind the terrorists who are trained in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and sent to India. Evidence of Hamas' modus operandi i.e. the way of attack is also being found in the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
