Terrorists hiding in Udhampur; Encounter breaks out between security forces and terrorists on Saturday

On Friday evening an encounter took place in the forests of Dudu-Basantgarh in Udhampur and Sojdhar in Bhaderwah, Doda of Jammu and Kashmir between the Army and Special Operations Group. Two to three Jaish terrorists hiding in the area opened fire on security forces between the operation.
One of the soldier got injured and later been declared as dead due to his injuries on Saturday morning. The encounter site was kept under a tight security and surveillance overnight, and the search operation resumed on Saturday morning.
Security forces, are doing surveillance with drones and sniffer dogs to track the terrorists ,and two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were also neutralised during thhe operation.
On September 8 two soldiers killed in encounter during operation Guddar
Lance Naik Narendra Sindhu from Kaithal and Para Commando Prabhat Gaur from Uttar Pradesh lost their life during the operation.
2 terrorists killed in recent encounter
In recent encounter, security forces killed two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. They were active since 2023 September one of them was Amir Ahmed Dar, a resident of Shopian associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and the other was a foreign terrorist known as Rehman Bhai. Amir Dar had been in the list of 14 terrorists released by security agencies after the Pahalgam attack.
