Vigilance Awareness Week Observed at IRCTC West Zone, Mumbai

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), West Zone, Mumbai, organized a special programme at its zonal office as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025.
The week-long event began on 27th October 2025, with the Integrity Pledge administered by Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone. On this occasion, all employees reaffirmed their commitment to uphold integrity, transparency, and ethical governance in public service.

Throughout the week, employees showcased a Nukkad Natak to creatively highlight the impact of corruption and the importance of ethical conduct. A theme-based Rangoli was also made at Mumbai Central Railway Station, which received appreciation from Shri Pradeep Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer, IRCTC Corporate Office, New Delhi.

The concluding session was held on 29th October 2025, with Tarun Jain, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Western Railway, as the Chief Guest. Gaurav Jha welcomed him with a symbolic “Good Luck” plant.
In his inspiring address, Tarun Jain emphasized the importance of vigilance, ethics, and accountability in public administration.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and staff across various departments of IRCTC West Zone, Mumbai. The primary objective of the programme was to strengthen the values of honesty, integrity, and transparency among railway employees in line with the Central Vigilance Commission’s theme for Vigilance Awareness Week 2025.
