World’s most popular evangelist Dr. K. A. Paul Urges PM Narendra Modi to Convene All-Party Meeting to Safeguard 1 Crore Indians in Middle East Amid US–Israel–Iran War

Amid the ongoing US–Israel–Iran war, world’s most popular evangelist and Founder of the Global Peace Initiative Dr. K. A. Paul, addressed a press conference today at Andhra Bhawan, New Delhi, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene an immediate all-party meeting to safeguard nearly 1 crore Indians currently living and working in the Middle East.

Dr. Paul said the safety of Indian citizens abroad must be India’s top priority as the conflict intensifies across the region. He warned that with military strikes already taking place, millions of Indians working in Gulf countries and other parts of the Middle East could face serious security and humanitarian risks if the crisis deepens.

Calling for a unified national response, Dr. Paul appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to invite leaders from all major political parties to deliberate on an urgent strategy to protect Indian citizens and ensure their safety.

He said that India must act quickly and decisively to prepare contingency plans, strengthen diplomatic coordination with countries in the region, and ensure that Indian nationals do not become unintended victims of a widening conflict.

Dr. Paul further said that the ongoing tensions have already begun affecting global travel and the economy. Rising fuel prices, widespread flight disruptions and cancellations have stranded thousands of passengers across major international transit hubs such as Dubai and Doha, reflecting the far-reaching consequences of the crisis.

Dr. Paul said he has been engaging with international stakeholders to encourage diplomatic dialogue, noting that leaders in the United States and Israel have shown openness to discussions while efforts continue to bring Iran to the negotiating table. He warned that further military escalation would only deepen the crisis and violate the spirit of the United Nations Charter, urging all sides to prioritise dialogue.

Dr. K. A. Paul has worked with global leaders for more than 37 years to promote dialogue and conflict resolution. During this period, he has engaged with U.S. Presidents and Israeli Prime Ministers and has visited Iran as a State Guest on multiple occasions. His diplomatic outreach has also included advising more than 155 Presidents and Prime Ministers on conflict prevention efforts.
He also proposed India or Turkey as a neutral venue for peace talks and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders across political parties to work together to safeguard Indian citizens abroad.

At the end he said, “Nearly one crore Indians are living in the Middle East. Their safety must be our immediate concern. India must come together and act responsibly to protect its people and promote peace.”
