More than 1.10 lakh devotees visited Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple on the first Monday of Sawan as Shiva temples across Madhya Pradesh witnessed massive crowds, special rituals and Kanwar Yatras.

The President proceeded directly from Indore to Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the country's most revered Jyotirlinga shrines. She is scheduled to offer prayers and participate in religious rituals at the temple. The administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure security and smooth movement during the visit.
