Jahnavi to Space: First Indian Woman to Complete NASA Training

Another proud moment for India in the space arena! Jahnavi has become the first Indian astronaut to complete NASA's space training and is set to travel to space in 2029.
Today is going to be a historic day for India. Indian Gaganyaatri Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is leaving for the International Space Station (ISS) today i.e. Wednesday. After Rakesh Sharma, an Indian astronaut will go to space after 41 years. Meanwhile, another good news has come for India from the world of space. Indian women astronaut Jahnavi from Andhra Pradesh has become the first Indian to complete NASA training. Now Jahnavi will travel to space in 2029.
23-year-old Dangeti Jahnavi, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, is going to travel to space in the year 2029. She is the first Indian to complete NASA's International Air and Space Program. With this, she has been selected to go to Titan's Orbital Port Space Station. This is a US-based project which will be launched in the next 4 years.
In the year 2022, Jahnavi was called to Poland for the Lunar Mission. Here she was kept in a moon-like environment and got a chance to be a part of the experiments conducted there. Jahnavi says, 'During this time, the 5-year-old Jahnavi inside me was very happy. The dream seemed to be coming true.' Jahnavi spent 12 days in this environment and did many experiments of human survival. After completing this, she became an analog astronaut.
