‘We Are Brave Children’: Lucknow Girl Wins Yogi Adityanath’s Praise, Gets Instant Admission

A young girl’s spirited recitation impressed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday, earning her immediate admission to a school in the city. The incident occurred during the CM’s public court at Lucknow, where citizens approach the Chief Minister with petitions and requests.

The girl, identified as Anabi Ali, arrived with her mother and requested, “Please get me admitted.” When asked by CM Yogi which class she wished to join, Anabi confidently replied, “Nursery, sir,” promising to attend school regularly.

Her charm and poise further impressed the Chief Minister when she recited the alphabet and a poem: “We are lion cubs, lion cubs, lion cubs. What if we are small, we are true at heart. We will sing, we will eat. When we grow up, we will increase the glory of our country. Jai Hind.” The Chief Minister praised her performance, gave her a chocolate, and instructed officials to ensure her immediate admission at Loreto School.

During the session, CM Yogi also interacted with other petitioners, addressing grievances related to land disputes, revenue issues, and police matters. He instructed officials to ensure impartial investigations and quick resolution of cases, emphasizing that unnecessary delays must be avoided.

Additionally, the Chief Minister assured financial assistance for a child undergoing treatment at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), highlighting the government’s commitment to healthcare. “25 crore state residents are my family. The government stands with them in happiness and sorrow. Financial assistance for treatment has been provided since day one and will continue. No one’s treatment will stop due to lack of funds,” he said.

The interaction, captured on video, quickly went viral on social media, with netizens praising the young girl’s confidence and the Chief Minister’s prompt response. Observers noted the gesture as a positive demonstration of accessibility and responsiveness in governance.

Anabi Ali expressed her delight after the meeting, stating that she was eager to start school and thanked the Chief Minister for approving her admission. Officials confirmed that the formal admission process would be completed immediately.

The event underscores the Uttar Pradesh government’s efforts to maintain public engagement, address grievances on the spot, and support education and healthcare initiatives for children across the state.
