11 Years of Modi Government: JP Nadda Hails Era of Development
Celebrating 11 years of PM Modi's leadership, BJP Chief JP Nadda emphasized the foundation of a developed India. He highlighted public trust, stating, "Modi hai toh Mumkin Hai," as a testament to transformative governance.
PM Narendra Modi led NDA government is celebrating the first anniversary of its third term, in a press conference at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, JP Nadda said, "The work done by the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi in the last 11 years was extraordinary, and should be written in golden letters." Emphasising on the change after 2014, Nadda said: “That government (Congress-led UPA) before 2014 was full of corruption. There was negativity in it. However, after 2014, there was a shift from negativity to optimism. We removed it and laid the foundation of a developed India in 11 years. NDA is a transparent and visionary government. People proudly say Modi hai toh Mumkin Hai. In the last 11 years, we have moved ahead with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.
He said, “Eleven years ago, our political culture was of appeasement and dividing society into pieces to save one's “kursi”. But after Modiji came to power, the politics of performance, responsive and accountable government, accountability, politics of report cards, emerged as the new culture. A “new normal”, a “new order” has been established. This is an effective government, it is a government that has taken strong decisions… it has become a transparent government and a government of the future.” “This decade will prove to be the basis for the development of a future “developed India”, Nadda said, quoting PM Modi. Story continues below this ad He cited the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, abolition of triple talaq, the Waqf Amendment Act, demonetisation, women quota bill as some of the “bold decisions” taken by the BJP government led by PM Modi. “This is change, this is a bold decision taken by the BJP government,” Nadda said.
Nadda, focusing on India's response to terrorism in the last 11 years, said that at the time of the Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Modi had clearly said that the terrorists had made a big mistake and they will have to face serious consequences. This was followed by action in Balakot. Recently in Madhubani, the Prime Minister again warned that terrorists will be responded to in a way that will be beyond their imagination. This situation has now become the "new normal".
Prime Minister Modi has clearly said that any kind of terrorist activity will be seen as an act of war. He also reiterated that there will be no discrimination against terrorists and those who support them.
