Will Jyoti Singh Join Jan Suraj?

Bhojpuri actor-singer Pawan Singh’s wife, Jyoti Singh, met Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor in Patna on Friday, sparking speculation about her possible political entry.

After the 20-minute meeting, however, Jyoti Singh clarified her intentions, saying, “I have not come here to contest elections or seek a party ticket.”

Her meeting with Kishor comes amid a widening rift with her husband, who rejoined the BJP on October 4.

Earlier this week, on October 8, Jyoti Singh addressed a press conference in Lucknow, appealing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for protection of her sindoor (marital dignity)
