Shiv Sena (UBT) leader encourages MNS leaders to engage in dialogue for potential alliance
Aditya Thackeray has welcomed BJP opponents, expressing readiness for collaboration, and urged MNS leaders to initiate talks for a possible Shiv Sena-MNS alliance.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray has said that his party has clarified its position on reconciliation and alliance with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. He also told that senior party leaders should play an active role in this direction. Talking to the media, Aditya said that his party welcomes anyone who opposes the anti-Maharashtra BJP. He clarified that the party's position is the same as before and their aim is to work for the betterment of the country, Maharashtra and society. They welcome all those who are against the BJP and Eknath Shinde.
Last month, cousins Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray fueled talks about a possible reconciliation. They indicated that they could set aside minor differences and come together after nearly two decades of separation. During this, Uddhav laid down a condition that Raj Thackeray should not have any association with the BJP or the Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
Will unite for Marathi people
Raj Thackeray, the head of MNS, has said that it is not difficult to unite for the interests of the Marathi speaking community. At the same time, former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray made it clear that he is ready to set aside minor disputes, provided that those working against the interests of Maharashtra are not included in it.
