Arjun Bharat National Party (ABNP) Concludes Statewide ‘Hindu-Jodo Yatra’ in Jaipur, Announces Plans for Nationwide Campaign

Rajasthan-based political organisation Arjun Bharat National Party (ABNP) on Friday formally concluded its widely discussed “Hindu-Jodo Yatra”, a statewide foot-march campaign that began on March 29, 2026 , from Jaipur. Over the course of nearly one and a half months, the yatra travelled across several districts and major regions of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Jaisalmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Alwar, Barmer, Udaipur, Kota, and many other areas.

Party leaders described the campaign as a major public outreach initiative aimed at promoting Hindu unity, cultural awareness, and the values of Sanatan Dharma .* According to ABNP, the yatra received an “overwhelming response” from people belonging to different social and economic backgrounds across the state.

Speaking at the concluding ceremony held in Jaipur, party spokesperson Anjali Jain said that the successful completion of the Rajasthan campaign has encouraged the organisation to consider taking the initiative to the national level in the coming year.

“The response we received throughout Rajasthan has been extremely encouraging. People from every section of society joined and supported the yatra. Inspired by this support, the party is now planning to organise the ‘Hindu-Jodo Yatra’ across India next year,” _Anjali Jain said._

 Yatra Faced Resistance in Udaipur

During the course of the journey, the yatra reportedly encountered certain disruptions in Udaipur, where, according to party leaders, some individuals attempted to obstruct the programme. "Arjun Bharat National Party"  alleged that a few “anti-social elements” tried to create disturbances and pressure the organisers into halting the march.
Despite the obstacles, the party continued the yatra and later resumed its scheduled programme in the region.

Referring to the incident, Anjali Jain stated that such resistance was not unexpected for a growing political organisation receiving increasing public support.

“Such hurdles are natural when a political movement begins receiving more appreciation and public attention than its parent organisation,” she remarked.
Although Jain did not directly name any political party, her statement was widely interpreted as an indirect reference to Viraj Jan Party (VRJP), the Rajasthan-based political organisation from which several Arjun Bharat National Party leaders were previously associated before the formation of ABNP.

Local Opposition and Security Concerns in Ajmer

According to local reports, a section of residents in Ajmer had opposed the yatra, alleging that it could disturb law and order in the area. Some individuals also reportedly warned party workers and participants to discontinue the programme and leave the region.

However, the situation did not escalate further, and the yatra eventually continued without major interruption. ABNP leaders later claimed that the campaign resumed peacefully after the tensions subsided.

The party maintained that the foot-march remained disciplined and focused on its stated objective of promoting social unity and cultural awareness among Hindus across Rajasthan.

Arjun Bharat National Party (ABNP) Targets Viraj Jan Party (VRJP) Over Administrative Training Proposal

At the concluding event in Jaipur, Arjun Bharat National Party also took aim at Viraj Jan Party’'s recently discussed proposal regarding mandatory administrative training for politicians before holding public office.

According to reports, Viraj Jan Party , led by Prashant Kumar Saini, has been advocating a system under which elected representatives would undergo compulsory training programmes after elections in order to ensure better governance and administrative efficiency.

Reacting to the proposal, ABNP spokesperson Anjali Jain said that political parties must place their faith in the democratic process and the mandate given by voters.

“Prashant Kumar Saini and Viraj Jan Party should trust the democratic framework of India and respect the public’s judgment. In a democracy, people themselves decide who is competent to govern,” she said.

Jain further stated that ABNP intends to actively contest the 2028 Rajasthan Assembly elections and would present its own political vision before the electorate.

“When the people of Rajasthan deliver their mandate in 2028, every political party, including Viraj Jan Party, will have to accept the public verdict,” she added.

ABNP Looking to Expand Political Presence

Political observers believe that the completion of the Hindu-Jodo Yatra marks an important step in ABNP’s efforts to expand its organisational presence in Rajasthan. The party, which emerged following ideological and internal differences within Viraj Jan Party, has increasingly attempted to position itself as a separate political force focused on Hindu unity and Sanatan Dharma-based politics.

With the successful completion of its first large-scale statewide campaign, ABNP now appears keen to strengthen its grassroots network and broaden its influence ahead of future political contests. Party leaders expressed confidence that the yatra has helped establish direct contact with people across Rajasthan and has increased the visibility of the organisation at the state level.

The concluding ceremony in Jaipur witnessed the participation of party workers, supporters, and local leaders from different districts, with ABNP describing the event as the beginning of a larger political and social movement that could eventually expand beyond Rajasthan.
