BJP National President Nitin Navin Visits Patna, to Offer Mahashivratri Prayers at Khajpura Shiva Temple

BJP National President Nitin Navin arrived in Patna today for a two-day visit, where he was received with a grand welcome by party workers at the airport. After the reception, he proceeded directly to his official residence. Prominent leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, state officials, legislators, and a large number of party workers were present at the airport to greet him.
Responding to objections raised by AIMIM legislator Akhtarul Iman over the national song Vande Mataram, Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha stated, “Those who love the nation should have no objection to Vande Mataram.”
Remarks on Pappu Yadav and Opposition
Addressing remarks and bail matters concerning Pappu Yadav, Vijay Kumar Sinha said that opposition members are performing their democratic role. He added, “The government is working with vigilance and will ensure the rule of law under all circumstances. Opposition has the right to voice their views in a democracy; there is no need for further comment.”
Mahashivratri Prayers at Khajpura Shiva Temple
On the second day of his visit, coinciding with Mahashivratri, Nitin Navin will perform formal prayers at the Khajpura Shiva Temple. He is expected to conduct a jalabhishek (ritual offering of water) to Lord Shiva and pray for the welfare and prosperity of the state’s residents.
The temple premises are anticipated to host party workers and local devotees, and the administration has arranged necessary security and traffic management measures to ensure a smooth and orderly program.
