Chhattisgarh's development gets new momentum: CM Sai meets Prime Minister Modi

Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to attend the Amrit Silver Festival on November 1. The meeting focused on accelerating the state's development initiatives.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai invited Prime Minister Modi to attend the Amrit Silver Festival organized in Raipur on November 1, 2025 as the chief guest. Along with this, the Chief Minister also informed the Prime Minister about the future plans of the state government, development priorities and major topics related to public welfare.

The 25th anniversary of the formation of the state in Chhattisgarh is being celebrated as Amrit Silver Jubilee Year. Chief Minister Sai said that this event will be historic for Chhattisgarh and its importance will increase even more with the dignified presence of the Prime Minister. The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving on the path of progress. He informed that the state government has prepared the 'Anjor Vision @ 2047' document, which presents the outline of inclusive and sustainable development of Chhattisgarh keeping in view the goal of developed India.

This vision document focuses on reforms and innovation-based initiatives in sectors such as education, health, agriculture, industry, innovation and environment.

The Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister that the Chhattisgarh Government, taking inspiration from the Central Government's "Jan Vishwas Act 2023", has passed the "Jan Vishwas Bill 2025" in the state, which has increased transparency in the justice system and made access more accessible and easy for the common citizens. The Chief Minister also shared with the Prime Minister the information about the Chhattisgarh State Capital Region Development Authority (SCRDA) constituted for the planned and rapid development of the capital Nava Raipur. He informed that through this authority, the capital region is being developed as a modern, smart and fast-growing urban center.

Informed about the rehabilitation scheme going on in Naxal-affected areas
The Chief Minister also mentioned the rehabilitation and confidence-building schemes going on in Naxal-affected areas. He said that as a result of the sensitive and visionary policies of the state government, a large number of Naxalites have surrendered and returned to normal life. Basic facilities like education, health, communication and roads are being rapidly expanded in these areas, which has strengthened the confidence of common citizens in the government and they are being inspired to join the mainstream of development.
